FAQs

Our experienced appraisers employ a comprehensive valuation process, weighing factors such as model rarity, condition, and current market trends. We utilise auction data for precise assessments, and consult with auction experts in the case of rare timepieces like vintage or limited edition Speedmasters.

We require authenticity certificates, warranty cards, or service records, but in rare circumstances, we can still provide competitive offers without papers.

Visit our pawn shop near Oxford Street Station For a personal appraisal. For high-value timepieces, we offer a secure collection service within Central London.

Loan amounts vary based on multiple factors. Rare Speedmaster or Seamaster models often command higher valuations. Our auction-based approach ensures fair market value.

Yes, though original documentation can increase the loan value. Our experts can still authenticate and assess your Omega without papers.

We only accept Omega watches from legitimate owners. Proof of ownership or purchase is very important to meet our standards.

Yes, but damage typically affects the loan value. Our appraisers factor in potential repair costs during valuation, ensuring you can still get an offer if your Omega has seen better days.

Our skilled appraisers use advanced techniques to verify Omega authenticity, examining movements, case quality, and brand-specific markers. Our familiarity with these special watches ensures we can tell the difference between real and fake Omegas.

David Sonnenthal

David Sonnenthal took an unusual route into pawnbroking, moving into the industry after a successful career in show business. David is a highly respected figure in the pawnbroking industry, winning the National Pawnbroker Association’s award four times in 2022, 2021, 2019 and 2008. He is a regular fixture in the British media, often providing expert advice on market values.

Never one to lose touch with his roots, David has even managed to continue his entertainment career as the resident dealer on Channel 4’s popular Four Rooms TV series.
